Here is another Car Story

Well as most of you know today was the last day for snow tires. So I woke up at 5:45 to take my car in to Madras to get my tires changed. I dropped my car off at 7:15, the guy then went on to tell me that my car would be ready at 12:30...... After walked around, through, across Madras. My car was still not ready. I walked over 8 miles and had 3 coffee's. I believe that next year Ill get my tires off EARLY!

The Runs

The Runs is where we go to town " Madras, OR" and go to almost all the fast food places in town. Which includes Sonic, Mcdonalds, Toco bell and Dariy Queen some eat at evey resturant and others just eat at one.

Well on this Runs trip we went to all of the above and we always eat at Dariy Qween at the big round table. That  we like to call our VIP Table. Well anyways the Interns and some other friends and staff where leaving DQ and I realized that I did not have my keys! I had left them in the ignition and the doors where unlocked!

This is a habit that I do at camp becuase know one ever really needs to lock there doors or hide there keys! Good thing no one stole my car!

Driving Stick :)

This week I found out I really do need to learn how to drive stick. The last time I had driven a stick shift, I was driving my Dads Model A and I remember stopping at a hill and then stalled it so I was going down hill backwards! It ended in me crying, so you could say I was not really excited to try again even though its several years later! So this week I had a range of teachers Jason, Keri, Katie, Megan, and Cara! Driving this time came somewhat easy and you could now say that I can drive stick as long as there are no hills! I think learning how to drive stick was fun. And its a good thing because I will end up driving the camp trucks every week for vending. 
Well the other day Cara and I Had to go to the office and pick up boxes for the store. So we went to get the camp truck and the one we normally take was getting worked on. So we took another truck to run things around camp. When we got back to the Store one of our boss's came in and told us we had taken someones personal truck! We had NO idea! It was kind of funny because they had said that the person driving did NOT know how to drive stick.  Well I never killed it but it looks like I'm not as seamless driving stick as I thought and Ill have to keep practicing!
